I understand from my own experience that mindfulness, meditation and relaxation practices don’t always come easy. It can be so difficult to switch off yet we know how important it is to rest. Especially when supporting others through your work or private live it is important to have a space to release stress and overwhelm and reconnect to your own needs.

That’s why I offer a gentle and trauma-informed approach to my yoga and relaxation teaching – taking into account your individual experience, making sure that you have space to listen to your own needs and taking off daily pressure.

The Space to Rest membership offers you a space to reconnect to yourself and your needs; providing you with the space to make your own self-care a priority.

Bring a variety of practices into your week that help regulate your Nervous system – ease stress, overwhelm and anxiety – feel more rested and calm.

Offering a nurturing and trauma-informed approach to yoga and relaxation practices – Helping you to slow down, switch off and feel more rested. Sessions focus on mindful movement and slowing down for stress release, Nervous system regulation and nurturing self-care.

Offering shorter and longer practices, depending on your needs. Especially when we are busy, working shifts or have other life events happening, making time for a regular longer self-care practices can be difficult. Shorter session can be much easier to fit into your day. However, when we have more time, a longer relaxation practice can be great to help us feel more rested and recharged.

I have recently made changes in my life that have made me extremely busy and making it hard to wind down. Without fail, yoga for rest leaves me feeling calm and in control. Fabienne is such a gentle teacher and I never feel any pressure to perform or push myself; I simply feel able to take the time for myself and at my own pace. About Fabi and what to expect from the yoga and relaxation practices

I started my own yoga journey during University and I instantly noticed how it helped me with daily anxiety and overwhelm. Soon after moving from Germany to the UK in 2017, I started my 200hr yoga teacher training. Since then I completed further trainings around Chair yoga, Trauma-informed yoga and Restorative Yoga.

I am passionate about Mental Health and the impact that yoga – and especially a trauma-informed approach – can have on mental wellbeing.

My own practice and teaching focuses on slowing down, gentle movement and deep rest – all with the intention to release stress, overwhelm and anxiety.

I truly believe in the importance of slowing down and making space for your own wellbeing, especially when supporting others through your work or private life.

My teaching is influenced by my background in studying Social work, working as a frontline worker as well as my own struggles with mental wellbeing and experiencing burnout and compassion fatigue.

In my yoga sessions, I try to provide a space to take off daily pressure and to meet your own needs with kindness and self-compassion.
